ELITech acquired the INTERNATIONAL MICROBIO (IM) business in July 2006.
IM, located in southeastern France in the industrial park of Signes, near Marseille, was founded in 1989 with a mission to simplify the approach to in vitro microbiological diagnosis. The company develops and manufactures tests for infectious diseases in order to answer to the requirements of both private and hospital laboratories in terms of cost-effectiveness, reliability, flexibility and ease-of-use.
ELITech offers a range of diagnostic kits for culture, screening, identification and antibiotic susceptibility testing of pathogens such as urogenital and respiratory mycoplasmas, yeasts, urinary micro-organisms and recently introduced bacterial serology... Over the years, the company has gained expertise and knowledge in the development of liquid and freeze-dried media for microbial growth.
ELITech products are available world-wide through an international network of distributors.
