Candida auris ELITe MGB® Kit

Candida auris is an emerging multidrug-resistant fungal pathogen and a major cause of healthcare-associated outbreaks worldwide.
Its ability to colonize the skin, persist on environmental surfaces, and spread rapidly within healthcare facilities makes early identification essential to support timely infection prevention and control measures. Colonized patients may remain asymptomatic while serving as reservoirs for transmission, particularly in high-risk healthcare settings.

The Candida auris ELITe MGB^® Kit is a Real-Time PCR assay designed for the detection of Candida auris DNA extracted from clinical specimens.

The assay is validated in association with the ELITe InGenius^® and ELITe BeGenius^® instruments using cutaneous swabs, including axillary and groin swab specimens.
