DSQ Alert™ HT Candida auris

Candida auris is a globally distributed pathogenic yeast that can cause invasive candidiasis, especially affecting critically ill and immunocompromised patients. C. auris is an emerging cause of hospital outbreaks and is classified in the highest “Critical Priority Group” in the 2022 WHO Fungal Priority Pathogens List.1

C. auris can be difficult to identify. The CDC states that the Internal Transcribed Region (ITS) is an accurate target for molecular identification of C. auris.2

High throughput (HT) design

Our DSQ Alert HT analyte specific reagents§ feature:

  • Optimized design for the open utility channel of high throughput real-time PCR platforms running up to 192 samples
  • Primers and probes manufactured according to FDA and cGMP requirements

Benefits

Innovative.  DSQ Alert products incorporate our proprietary duplex stabilizing quencher (DSQ), a universal quencher and MGB fused into one hybrid molecule. DSQ probes offer DNA duplex stabilization and specificity with better quenching.

Flexible. Our reagents can be used on the ELITe InGenius® and ELITe BeGenius® instrument systems, and on most open channel platforms. Let us help create the right workflow for your lab.

Responsive. We frequently anticipate and nimbly respond to market needs as they arise. Let us know what you’d like to add to your own real-time PCR menu.

Visit egmdx.com to learn more. We offer a full menu of IVD tests, analyte specific reagents (ASRs), and research use only (RUO) materials designed with proprietary chemistries.
