A significant milestone was achieved in 2005 with the launch of one of Europe’s first quantitative Real-Time PCR kits for detecting Cytomegalovirus (CMV). This innovative kit provided precise quantification of CMV viral load, a crucial advancement for effective infection management and monitoring. This early adoption of cutting-edge technology established ELITechGroup MDx as a European leader in transplantation diagnostics and highlighted its commitment to enhancing healthcare through high-performance solutions.
In 2016, ELITechGroup MDx transformed the market with the introduction of the ELITe InGenius®, its first fully automated sample-to-result (S2R) system. ELITe InGenius® integrates extraction, amplification, and result interpretation with unprecedented flexibility. The instrument provides laboratories with limitless testing possibilities, offering a comprehensive assay menu combined with open capability. Since its launch, the platform has expanded to include nearly 60 CE-IVD parameters and validated over 20 different sample matrices.
Building on this success, ELITechGroup MDx introduced the ELITe BeGenius® in 2021, its second S2R platform, further enhancing workflow efficiency and performance. With a robust pipeline of assays, instruments, and software, the company ensures that laboratories remain at the cutting edge of molecular diagnostics.
