Turin, 20 May, 2020 – It is with great satisfaction that ELITechGroup announces the installation of the ELITe InGenius® number 500, the fully automated “Sample – to – Result” Real Time PCR platform.
ELITe InGenius® with its outstanding flexibility is increasingly recognized as a reliable system in molecular diagnostics. The installation of platform number 500 took place in Public Central Hospital of Sondrio, has been welcomed with great expectation. Installing platform number 500 at a hospital in Lombardy region (North of Italy) is a source of pride as it reaffirms ELITechGroup’s deep commitment in the fight against COVID 19, and the desire to give concrete support in the most affected Italian region, contributing to a rapid reporting to establish adequate therapeutic treatment for patients.

To celebrate this important milestone, the platform features a logo representing the Mole Antonelliana, symbol of Turin, the city that hosts the International Molecular Business Unit, together with the number “500”, which recalls the serial number of the instrument installed. Each platform of the 500 series will also be provided with a celebratory logo, demonstrating ELITechGroup’s commitment in the field of molecular diagnostics.
