Chlamydia trachomatis is the most common bacteria involved in sexually transmitted infections (STI), and responsible for serious health outcomes. Left unidentified, this pathogen can cause severe complications including ectopic pregnancy and infertility. Detection of Chlamydia trachomatis with molecular testing methods is important to identify the pathogen and provide an adapted treatment.

Chlamydia tr. ELITe MGB® Kit is a qualitative PCR assay for the detection of Chlamydia trachomatis DNA. The assay is CE-IVD validated on urine samples in combination with automated extraction and PCR systems.
