The DOR-BAR kit enables the semi-quantitative detection of anti-streptodornase B antibodies (ASDOR) from human serum after an incubation of 4 hours.

The quantitative determination of anti-streptodornase B antibodies in patient serum allows the confirmation of an active or recent streptococcal A infection.

  • Convenient: only one incubation step (4 hours at 37°C), no instrument required
  • Individual reagents: 1 single tray and 1 single DNA substrate per test
  • Cost-effective, routine laboratory test
  • High sensitivity and specificity
  • Simple colorimetric reaction, without expert interpretation

The DOR-BAR test is a test based upon the neutralization of the streptodornase B depolymerisation activity by antibodies present in the test serum.

Serology MUG

Complementary immunological test to the direct detection of urogenital mycoplasma.

The SEROLOGY kit enables the quantitative detection in serum of the antibodies against the principal urogenital mycoplasma species, Ureaplasma urealyticum (U.u.) and Mycoplasma hominis (M.h.).

Given their lack of immunogenicity, serological testing of mycoplasmas does not replace direct diagnosis from patient specimens but is a pertinent complementary test. The serologic test for urogenital mycoplasmas is especially use to diagnose a deep genital infection, like salpingitis or prostatitis. The technique of metabolic inhibition using lyophilized reagents and reference strains is the most appropriate technique for use by non-specialized laboratories.

More than being the fastest technology available for Mycoplasma serology testing, our SEROLOGY test offers:

  • Simple methodology with no prior treatment of serum
  • High sensitivity and specificity
  • Fast results for clinicians, available within 24 hours
  • Visual colorimetric method, without expert interpretation
  • Control serum standard included in the kit

TPHA

The TPHA test detects human T. palladium antibodies based upon an indirect and simple hemagglutination method (HAI). Fowl erythrocytes are sensitized with T. palladium fragments. In the presence of specific anti-T.palladium antibodies, sensitized erythrocytes (Test Cells) agglutinate and induce a characteristic structure on the microtiter plate (appearance of even layer) in the bottom of the well.

Unspecific reactions are detected using control cells which are unsensitized fowl erythrocytes.
