Complete diagnosis
Standardized and approved susceptibility testing
"All-liquid" easy to use method
Fast results for clinicians
Visual, colorimetric method

INTENDED USE:
Screening, Identification and Enumeration of Ureaplasma urealyticum and Mycoplasma hominis
Susceptibility of these bacteria to 7 antibiotics at 2 concentrations: Doxycycline, Pristinamycin, Roxithromycin, Azithromycin, Josamycin , Ciprofloxacin, Ofloxacin.

CHARACTERISTICS:
Diagnosis in a tray 20 wells MYCOFAST® Evolution 3: 1 test per tray

PRINCIPLE:
Liquid microculture tray method. Results within 24 hours:

- Enumeration based upon enzyme kinetics U.u: 103, 104 and ? 105 UCC/ml; M.h: ? 104 UCC/ml
- Identification based upon the presence or absence of susceptibility to 3 antibiotics (lincomycin, SXT and erythromycin)
- Susceptibility testing to 7 other antibiotics
Growth detected by the colour change of an indicator

PERFORMANCE:
Detection, Identification, Enumeration
MYCOFAST® method evaluated with different samples:
- Endocervical and urethral swab samples
- Liquid samples: Urine, sperm, gastric secretions

Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing:
Method evaluated with wild isolates and resistant clinical isolates.
